Most of us know that Freedom of Speech is Fundamental Human Rights, but how Free is our Speech? For some people it is, but for some, it seems it isn't free anymore... Like you can't say anything if it goes against the grain...

Sometimes, you hear people who express their opinions about what someone has said or done but, do not accept it when somebody disagrees with them. Is that what freedom of speech or expression is about?
The primary component of freedom of speech is the right to freedom of expression, verbally or nonverbally. In general, its principle guarantees an individual or a community's right to articulate, express their ideas, information, opinions and that people could even criticize the government without the fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction of being imprisoned. It can be used to obtain social and political change or to refuse change. It is for everyone's protection; it outlines an individuals' right to object as freedom of expression of their beliefs. But it’s rampant around the world that some people, especially those wielding power, governments, organizations, somewhat intend to obstruct or circumvent freedom of speech and use it for their self-interest.
Laws exist for a reason, to shape moral standards, promote social justice, and facilitate orderly change. It applies to everybody. It does not mention specific skin color, race, religion, social status, or sexuality.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you do not like what other people believe in, don't join them. It's not your job to please anybody. You are in control of your own principle. And if you can express your opinion or beliefs the way you want, there is no reason why others cannot. Everybody has as many rights as you do, whether you agree with them or not. It's never okay to bully, degrade, or harass anybody just because they are sharing their opinion, perspective, or just because of their different views and principles. Unfortunately, some people just don't want to look at it that way.
The law provides a framework and rules to help resolve disagreements between individuals to keep the peace and govern people's behavior, conforming to a standard of right and good.
While Freedom of Expression is one of our fundamental rights, there are limitations like many other things in this world... It precludes speech that is harmful to others, threatening, instigating violence, or generally repulsive and reviled as a general rule. Anything that impinges upon the individual's right, organization, or government to enjoy the peaceful and quiet environment. These restrictions are intended to balance other individuals' rights or legitimate government interests. The #keywords on the #FreedomOfSpeech for unity are the words: Respecting and Peaceably…
Respect is earned, not given. Treat people how you want to be treated and talk to people the way you want to be talked to. Receiving respect from one another is important because it helps us to feel safe to express ourselves. That we can accept anyone for who they are, even when they're different from us, or we disagree with them. It builds feelings of trust, safety, and wellbeing.
Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding. If you do something peaceably, you do it calmly, quietly, or peacefully, without arguments or trouble, violence or anger. Sometimes, we have to learn to reflect first before we say anything against anybody... Peace and harmony are long-lasting values.
